We will explain your options simply and make the application arrangements for you from start to finish, making the whole process as smooth as possible.

Our dedicated administration team will keep you informed of the progress of your application, and through our investment in technology you will also be able to track the progress 24/7 using our online tools.

    I’ve worked in the Financial Services industry since 1992, starting my career with Halifax and Britannia Building Society before moving into mortgage broking on 2002. In 2008, I took the leap to set up Matt Clarke Mortgage Services, driven by a passion for providing clear, honest advice and a truly personal service.

    Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of clients turn their property goals into reality — from excited first-time buyers to seasoned homeowners and landlords. I take pride in really getting to know my clients and understanding what’s important to them, so I can find the right mortgage solution to fit their individual circumstances.

    Building long-term relationships has always been at the heart of what I do. Many of my clients return to me time and again, and a large part of my business comes through personal recommendations — something I’m incredibly proud of.

    When I’m not helping clients with their mortgages, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and making the most of life outside of work.

    I began my career in Financial Services in 1988 with the Halifax, where I spent 16 years building a strong foundation in the industry. After achieving my CeMAP qualification in 2000, I moved into mortgage broking with an estate agency in Rugby.

    After taking some time out to raise my family, I joined Matt Clarke Mortgage Services in 2016. Since then, I’ve become a dedicated and conscientious member of the team, always focused on finding the best possible mortgage solutions for my clients. I pride myself on my friendly approach, attention to detail, and commitment to making the mortgage process as smooth and stress-free as possible

    Outside of mortgage advice, my life is full of family, fun, and community. I spend a lot of time chauffeuring my teenagers, captaining my local darts team, and volunteering as a Swim England Official at swimming galas. When I do get the chance to unwind, I love heading to concerts or catching a show at the theatre.

    After nearly 20 years of proud service in the Royal Navy — reaching the rank of Petty Officer Writer — I developed a reputation for precision, integrity, and commitment. Managing finance, personnel records, and administration for hundreds of service members taught me one thing above all else: attention to detail changes lives.

    That same focus now drives my work as a Mortgage and Protection Specialist, where I help clients of all backgrounds secure the right mortgage and the right protection to safeguard what matters most. Whether it’s a first home, a remortgage, or complex cases involving CCJs, defaults, or credit challenges, I take pride in finding solutions that others might overlook.

    I also provide clear, honest advice on a full range of protection products — including Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection, Unemployment Cover, and Buildings & Contents Insurance — ensuring my clients and their families are protected through every stage of life.

    My journey in financial services began in 2000, when I worked as a self-employed agent for Provident Personal Credit. My interest in mortgages and the property market grew naturally over the years as I purchased my first home in 2005, followed by several moves and buy-to-let investments. I initially handled the mortgages myself, but after using Matt Clarke Mortgage Services for the first time, I saw first-hand how their all-inclusive, start-to-finish support removed the stress from the entire process. That experience made it clear that this was the team I wanted to be part of.

    Motivated by that, I completed my CeMAP and CeRER qualifications in 2021 and joined Matt’s team shortly after. I find the role incredibly rewarding—there’s nothing better than helping someone turn their property goals into a reality.

    Outside of work, I enjoy running and swimming and I love spending time with my family.
